This article identifies how knife crime amongst young people is extremly high, headteacher Steer urges families and schools to help tackle the issue of knife crime and general violent behaviour- he argues that adults in modern society are not showing good 'role model' behaviour which is contributing to the rising crime rates. 'Sometimes as adults we don't model the behaviour we would want youngsters to follow'.
